The Curious Incident …

One of the things I’ve liked most about starting this blog is the great feedback I would have otherwise missed. To wit, The Elegant Variation recently stopped by to recommend that I move The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time up in my to-read list. Mark’s expertly written review, which was posted at TEV a month ago, has convinced me to do so. Actually, the only thing that keeps me from moving it from “eventually” to “presently” is its absence from my bookshelf, and its status will likely change if I happen to receive it as a gift (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).

I considered excerpting some of Mark’s review here, but I decided against it, because it really deserves to be read as a whole, and excerpting it wouldn’t do it justice. Like the best book reviews I’ve read, it both gives a good sense of the book’s content and teaches you something in itself. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
