New Album Trend for Old Musicians?
Is the new trend for musicians of a certain age to release albums with neither artist name nor album title on the cover?
The Rolling Stones’ “A Bigger Bang” (top) and Paul McCartney’s “Chaos and Creation in the Backyard” (bottom) are currently “Better Together” at Amazon.

Brian: Thanks so much for checking into this and offering the screen grabs. I’m still trying to negotiate the tags so that it appears with some coherence in iTunes, but hope to get this problem fixed after a few more shows. (As you might imagine, it’s enough time and trouble trying to research, coordinate, interview and engineer each show!)

I certainly understand, Ed. When your time is scarce (as I imagine it usually is), please focus on the content. Everything else is working well enough for that to take center stage, as it should.
I look forward to the next installment, and couldn’t really care less about the iTunes metadata.
